New registrations (1,162, -2%), board changes (2,028, +4.6%), and M&A deals (29, flat) all hovered near their 4-week averages. The Swiss corporate register has found its February cruise control.

Liquidations dropped sharply (-26.9% to 236), suggesting the year-end dissolution wave has fully passed. Bankruptcies ticked up marginally to 170, with Montres Otium SA (Neuchatel, est. 2023) — a luxury watch startup barely two years old — joining the growing list of failed horological ventures. Geneva-based Integral Shipping and Trading SA and AF Energy SA (appearing for the second time) round out the energy and commodities failures.

The deal headline belongs to Accenture AG's CHF 238M absorption of Accenture Services AG — a Zurich intra-group merger consolidating the consulting giant's Swiss operations. More telling for the real economy: Läderach Weibel AG's CHF 15.8M merger with Anliker AG signals construction sector consolidation in central Switzerland, while Equans Switzerland's facility management restructuring (CHF 15.5M) reflects the French energy services group's ongoing Swiss market rationalization.
